Silence
I have been (temporarily) living alone for ten days now. At home, I don’t speak, there’s no music, no TV. I start to listen to a podcast or a radio show, but the incessant talking repels me. The loudest sounds are the crackling fire and dinner in the oven. Silence is space for thinking.
